With women being known well for their supporting roles in different movies, the 2022 SAG Awards recognized some. The lucky lady to take the award home in this category was Ariana DeBose from her role in the West Side Story. These women were Ruth Negga from Passing, Caitriona Balfe from Belfast, Kristen Dunst from The Power of the Dog and Cate Blanchett in the Nightmare Alley.

Television movies and series were not left behind. In this case, the best male actor in this category who was the lucky winner for the night was Michael Keaton for the role he played in Dopesick.
